Dr. Damian Dieter was born and raised just five blocks from his current office on Portage Avenue on the northwest side of South Bend. After graduating from Indiana University, he received his podiatric training from the Ohio College of Podiatric Medicine in Cleveland, Ohio in 1994 and completed his surgical residency training in Grand Blanc, Michigan.

In July of 1995 he joined and then purchased the practice of his father, Dr. Richard Dieter and served as Externship Director for the Saint Joseph’s/Saint Mary’s Podiatry program from 1996 to 2000.

Dr. Dieter became certified by the American Board of Podiatric Surgery in 2004 and in July of 2006 was named the Associate Director of the Saint Joseph’s Podiatric Residency Program.
